Champat Rai, General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, told the press conference at the Vishwa Hindu Parishad headquarters on Wednesday that stones will be used in the construction of the temple. Soil investigation up to 60 m depth
Champat Rai said that the company has consulted IIT Chennai to measure the strength of soil. Soils up to 60 meters deep were tested. If there is an earthquake, how much soil of the land will be able to withstand those waves, all of them have been investigated.
He said that not even one gram of iron will be used in the construction of Ram temple. The area of the Ram temple will be about three acres. 10,000 copper leaves and rods are also required for temple construction. For this, the donors need to come forward.
Demand to increase public convenience in Ayodhya
Champat Rai said that according to government statistics, two crore people come to visit Ayodhya every year. This figure will increase significantly once the Ram temple is built. That is why the government is thinking about facilities like bus, rail, airplane etc. Airstrip will also be built to take off the helicopter.
